See  http://1t3xt.be/?X000140. I've no idea what you mean by "Form Based
Authentication".

Modification to simplebookmark.cs

Stephn9
I needed access to JavaScript in bookmarks (for reasons that I've described before), and added the following to BookmarkDepth() in SimpleBookmark.cs:

                           //New Code 8-18-09 to allow access to JavaScript (SRB)
                            else if (PdfName.JAVASCRIPT.Equals(PdfReader.GetPdfObjectRelease(action.Get(PdfName.S))))
                            {
                                map["Action"] = "JavaScript";
                                PdfObject js = PdfReader.GetPdfObjectRelease(action.Get(PdfName.JS));
                                if (js != null)
                                {
                                    if (js.IsString())
                                        map["JS"] = ((PdfString)js).ToUnicodeString();
                                }
                            }

I renamed the simplebookmark class in order to get this to work in a project with recompiling all of iTextSharp. Along the way I found I had to explicitly include the ArrayList member of PDFArray objects if I wanted things to compile - I frankly don't know enough about C# to know why this would be.

At any rate, I want to include what I'm doing in a commercial product, which is heading out the door to Manufacturing tomorrow. I've never done anything with Open Source before. What do I need to do to stay legal?

Thanks,

Stephen

Re: Modification to simplebookmark.cs

Paulo Soares-3
To stay legal you just have to supply your version of iTextSharp to your
client.

I googled your question and I found there are some similar posts there. But it only talks about the barcode generation without mention any PDF codument. hope it will help some later viewers.

PDF417,
PDF417 is also known as

    Portable Data File 417
    PDF 417
or Portable Data File 417, is a two-dimensional (2D) stacked barcode symbology capable of encoding over a kilobyte of data per label. It was developed by Symbol Technologies (1989-1992) and is currently maintained by ISO/IEC. Large amounts of text and data can be stored securely and inexpensively when using the PDF417 symbology. The printed symbol consists of several linear rows of stacked codewords.
for more inf, you can follow the guide.
hope it is useful for you. good luck.
